DecaPrep v1.2 — Flexible Study, Your Way

We’re excited to announce DecaPrep v1.2. This update focuses on giving coaches more flexibility in how materials are uploaded, shared, and used in practice, whether online or on paper.

What’s New

Expanded exam support

• Improved support for comprehensive exams and leveled exams.

• Better handling of exams that are in a two-column format, even if they are image-flattened.

Literature Critical Reading support

• Added support for Literature Critical Reading passages to better reflect real competition formats.

Quiz to PDF conversion

• Any uploaded quiz can now be converted into a downloadable PDF.

• Students can print quizzes and complete them in person when needed.

Spreadsheet based uploads

• Coaches can now upload quizzes using XLSX, CSV, or TSV files.

• Using a template file in the create menu, coaches can populate this spreadsheet with their questions.

• A faster alternative for teams with existing question banks or spreadsheets.

Why This Matters

• Coaches can work with materials in the formats they already have.

• Teams can mix digital practice with printed, in person testing.

• Students spend less time adapting to formats and more time studying content.
